Title of scientific achievement (series of publications): A diagnostic study of changes in engine oil parameters with a view to improving their operational quality.

Ph.D. in Economic Sciences in the field of Commodity Science (2014), Faculty of Commodity Science, Cracow University of Economics.
Doctoral dissertation: Kinetics of changes in selected properties of engine oils under operating conditions.

Author of numerous scientific works, including articles published in journals indexed in the Web of Science and/or Scopus databases (ORCID).

Participant in multiple research projects funded by internal and external sources, e.g.:
implementation of the project “Development of an effective method for introducing metal and metal oxide nanoparticles into base oils used in engine oils” under the program “Innovation Incubator 4.0,” funded by the Jagiellonian University, Cracow University of Economics, and InnoCel Jagiellonian University Special Purpose Vehicle within the initiative of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education “Innovation Incubator 4.0.” Project value: PLN 60,000.

Cooperation with industry and research institutions, including the Jerzy Haber Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Oil and Gas Institute–National Research Institute, AGH University of Krakow, University of Life Sciences in Lublin, and Mendel University in Brno.

Academic tutor (Certificate No. 20/UEK/II/2020).

Courses taught: Materials Science and Polymer Engineering, Product Information Analysis, Comparative Analysis of Industrial Product Quality, Safety of Industrial Products, Bachelor’s and Master’s Seminars.

Research interests: Changes in engine oil parameters under real operating conditions; paper chromatography; electrical parameters of engine oils; the role of brand in perceived engine oil quality; spectroscopic studies of engine oils correlated with their physicochemical properties.
