Dr Eng. Marcin Paprocki, Assistant Professor

Dr Eng. Marcin Paprocki is an assistant professor at the Cracow University of Economics. He has been working at the Department of Technology and Ecology of Products since 2007. He completed his master’s degree in Transport Management at the Cracow University of Technology and next his doctorate degree in Management and Production Engineering in 2015 at the same academic institution. He is the author or co-author of several dozen scientific articles. His research interests include issues related to the sustainable development of products, taking into account social, economic, environmental and other aspects. The second aspect of his research interests is the improvement of design, manufacturing and business processes in accordance with new management strategies (concepts), such as Six Sigma and Lean Management. Marcin teaches engineering subjects in the field of technical issues as well as management and production engineering. He is the supervisor of the student scientific circle “Product Ecology”. He is a member of the Polish Association for the Dissemination of Computer Engineering Systems ProCAx.
