Ryszard Ćwiertniak is a recognized expert in project management, specializing in agile and Design Thinking methodologies. He holds a PhD in management and quality sciences from the University of Economics in Krakow, as well as master’s degrees in administration and management from the University of Warsaw, and a degree in electrical engineering. For many years, he has led projects in both the public and private sectors, focusing on the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) and innovative digital solutions.
One of the key initiatives he contributed to was the international Erasmus+ project “beSpoke,” carried out in partnership with universities in Budapest, Lörrach, Würzburg, and Olomouc. The project aimed to develop innovative educational methods, with a focus on personalized learning and the integration of new technologies in online education.
He is the author of a book, a book chapter, and numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles on innovation management and the implementation of artificial intelligence in organizations. As an IBM Design Thinking mentor and a five-day sprint facilitator, he supports teams in rapidly implementing innovative solutions. His project management training helps companies prepare teams to work in agile environments, including advanced production systems within Industry 4.0.
He also serves as an ambassador for the Early Warning Europe program and a DIANA expert, supporting start-ups and businesses in digital transformation and helping them adapt to market changes, particularly through the use of emerging technologies in business processes.
His interdisciplinary background and hands-on experience position him as a valuable contributor to both academic and industry-led innovative initiatives.
