Prof. Dr Habil. Wacław Adamczyk, Full Professor

Professor of economics science, full professor.  

 

Research interests: 

  • shaping the quality of products in the technological process,
  • quality management systems,
  • environmental management systems,
  • product life cycle analysis.

 

Positions held: 

  • from 1997 to 2022 – Head of the Department of Product Technology and Ecology,
  • from 2002 to 2008 – Vice-Rector for Organization and Development of the University of Economics in Krakow,
  • from 1999 to 2002 – Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Commodity Science,
  • from 2002 to 2020 – member of the UEK Senate.

 

Membership in organizations: 

  • from 2004 member of the UEK Foundation Council
  • from 2004 to 2012 – chairman of the Scientific and Program Council of “Ecological Problems”,
  • from 2004 to 2009 – member of the Chapter of the Małopolska Quality Award,
  • from 2002 until 2005 – member of the EPOQS Accreditation Committee,
  • from 2000 to 2006 – Member of the Commission of Commodity Sciences – Quality Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, member of the ISO 14000 Forum,
  • from 2001 to 2004 – Vice-President of the Main Board of the Polish Commodity Society,
  • from 2002 to 2018 – member of the IGWT,
  • from 1995 to 2001 – President of the Main Board of the Polish Commodity Society,
  • from 1995 to 2001 – member of TNOiK.
