The Quality Management Scientific Circle has been operating within the Department of Quality Management since 2002. From the very beginning, its Mentor has been Prof. Dr. Hab. Tadeusz Sikora. The first supervisor was Dr. Eng. Marek Salerno-Kochan, and since 2017, the circle has been supervised by Dr. Eng. Mariusz Giemza.

It is one of the oldest scientific circles at the Cracow University of Economics, bringing together quality enthusiasts and experts who, through their membership, gain knowledge not only in theory but also in practice. The circle has achieved numerous successes, thanks to the realization of its statutory goals.

The Quality Management Scientific Circle annually organizes scientific conferences under the leading titles “Challenges of Quality Management” and “QDay.”
