On November 18, 2024, at the initiative of the lecturer of the course “Customs and Customs Procedures in the Transport Process,” Ms. Małgorzata-Woźniak Słota, MEng.., second-year students of the Transport and Forwarding program had a unique opportunity to delve into the secrets of forensic techniques used in the work of customs services and to learn about the practical aspects of their operation. Representatives of the Małopolska Customs and Tax Office: Mr. Rafał Szewczyk – Senior Aspirant of the Customs and Tax Service, and Ms. Anna Musiał – Accountant of the Customs and Tax Service, combined theory with practice in an extremely interesting way and demonstrated with examples how effective customs procedures contribute to combating crime in the field of transport and forwarding.
In addition to the uniformed specialists, the classes were also attended by a special guest – the service dog Suzi, who helps detect illegal substances and items during customs inspections. 🐕🔍
